The client handoff problem
Showing a client their SEO report used to mean one of three things: export a PDF, share your screen, or add them as a user. None of these are ideal. PDFs go stale. Screen sharing is synchronous. Adding clients as users clutters your account.
We've built a cleaner solution: shareable report links.
How it works
On any completed scan report, click Share with client. We create a frozen snapshot of the report at that moment in time: scores, recommendations, AI analysis, and generate a unique link.
Anyone with the link can view the report. No login required. The link doesn't expire.
What the client sees
The shared report page shows:
- The overall, SEO, and GEO scores with visual score rings
- The AI verdict and synthesis explanation
- Prioritised recommendations: critical issues first
- Technical findings by category
It's a clean, read-only view: no account navigation, no edit controls. Just the results.
Frozen snapshots, not live data
An important detail: the shared link shows the report as it was when you shared it. If you run another scan and scores change, the old link still shows the original snapshot. This is intentional: clients need a stable reference point, not a live feed that might confuse them mid-conversation.
To share updated results, generate a new link from the new scan.
Agency branding
On the Agency plan, shared reports show your agency logo and name instead of AngryRobot branding. White-label client deliverables, without the PDF export overhead. See Agency plan features.
